Hudson NY

I am still looking up things about this place but Rebekah's brother Nathan, whom I was telling about Pickles Gap told me about a place called Hudson NY.  All these city people who gave up on the city life took over this small run down town and totally made it into this artist place.. So if any of you also feel like researching this place I thought I would just throw it out there.  Looking it up in the meantime!

Religion for Atheists

This book was a profound revelation for me. So many great ideas of things our secular society is deeply lacking. It covers so much, and lays out a great starting point for how to envision a better way of living that is more caring and humane, and ways of how to put that into effect. GREAT STUFF!

The Disposessed

This book describes an alternative world that runs as a cooperative anarchist society. There's a lot of really interesting ideas about society and people coming together. From prisons, to work, to sleeping arrangements, to love and relationships,  to government at large. Much of whats there feels like stuff to explore in the setup of our new township. Let the book club begin.
